Description

The talk will begin with a quick introduction to nanosphere lithography (NSL) – a method that provides a variety of periodic nanostructures (arrays of dots, antidots, nanoislands and modulated structures) over large areas. The versatility of the method is one of the key factors in research of magnetic nanomaterials and enables to study e.g. the influence of the defects on the magnetic reversal behavior or conditions for the formation non-collinear magnetic textures. In the main part of the talk, I will show some examples of research problems in the field of nanomagnetism, where the application of the NSL approach turned out to be of key importance.
