Abstract:

I will take you on a tour of some branches of physics where singularities
appear: We will start from singularities in field theories and
astrophysics described by differential equations in the complex plane.
Then we will focus on the topological behaviors of nuclear matter in
neutron stars. Finally, we will consider a standard function from particle
physics.
