Description

Beam diagnostics are amongst the most important subsystems responsible for accelerator operation and performance. There are hundreds of subsystems, such as beam current, beam loading, and beam profile monitors. Installation of these systems required the development of multiple infrastructure solutions, such as cabling and grounding arrangements for low-noise signal transmission, precise RF front-ends, interfaces for other ESS subsystems, and data acquisition modules. This contribution describes selected solutions developed by WUT for ESS beam diagnostic systems, including EMI-immune rack infrastructure, interfaces for beam current and aperture monitors, low-noise connections for beam-loading monitors, and a modular data acquisition link
