Data protection clause
Pursuant to art. 13 (1) and (2) of Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (Official Journal of the European Union L 119 of 4 May 2016) the IFJ PAN informs you that:
The controller of your personal data is the Henryk Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear Physics Polish Academy of Sciences (IFJ PAN), ul. Radzikowskiego 152, 31-342 Kraków, represented by the Director of IFJ PAN.

Your personal data will be processed pursuant to:
- art. 6, item. 1 letter b of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016 (processing necessary for the execution of the workshop participation contract),
- art. 6 item 1, letter a of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016 (if the consent has been given) for the purpose of publishing the list of participants on the workshop website, publishing your image and preparing meals during the workshop dinner.
The recipients of your personal data will be solely:
- entities cooperating with IFJ PAN within the framework of scientific collaborations or providing services for IFJ PAN (courier, postal, publishing and internet services for IFJ PAN),
- entities and institutions authorized to access or receive personal data on the basis of legal provisions (e.g. court, police, tax authorities),
- all persons having access to the Internet and to the lists of conference participants published there, if your consent has been given to the processing of personal data in order to publish the list of conference participants at the indico.ifj.edu.pl platform available from the conference website: ifj.edu.pl/konferencje/,
- all persons having access to the IFJ PAN information and publicity materials, if your consent has been given to the processing of personal data in this aim.
Your personal data will be retained:
- Until the consent for processing is withdrawn – for the purpose of publishing the participants’ list on the workshop website and in order to prepare proper meals during the conference – until the conference is finished
- Until the withdraw of your consent of using your personal image.
Your personal data will not be subject to automated processing, including profiling.
You have the right to:
- demand access to your personal data and receive a copy of your personal data,
- rectification (correction) of your personal data,
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on the consent given before its withdrawal,
- erasure of your personal data if the data processing is not necessary for the compliance with a legal obligation or for the exercise of official authority,
- restriction of processing of your personal data,
- lodge a complaint to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa).
Providing personal data necessary for the correct registration of participation is a condition for participation in the conference. Providing other data is voluntary.
