Description

We are pleased to invite you to the conference Multiscale Phenomena in Condensed Matter – Multis2022, which will be held on 27-30 June 2022. The meeting will take place on the Zoom platform and is organized by The Henryk Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear Physics Polish Academy of Sciences.

The conference is devoted to condensed matter topics concerning structure, dynamics, relaxation, magnetism, acoustics and other properties as probed by various experimental techniques and theoretical tools within a broad range of time- and length-scales.

Topics will cover liquid crystals, glass formers, molecular magnets, nanomagnets, molecular layered systems, polymers, ceramics as well as hydrogen storage, energy storage, and biologically oriented and advanced materials for applications. Reports on experimental, theoretical and computational results are expected.

The conference will involve the following sessions:
    •    Soft matter and glass-formers.
    •    Molecular magnets and nanomagnets.
    •    Multifunctional materials.
    •    Ferroelectric and multiferroic materials.
    •    Spectroscopic and diffraction methods
(neutron scattering, dielectric spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, NMR, Positron Annihilation Spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, etc.).
    •    Structure research.
    •    Computational physics.
    •    Miscellany
(biologically oriented systems, new ideas, advanced materials, surfaces, interfaces, ceramics, hydrogen storage, energy storage, …).

This meeting is part of a series of biennial conferences Multiscale Phenomena in Molecular Matter.
