MARIA 2050 - operation and applications of the Polish research reactor

The seminar will concern the MARIA research reactor - the only research reactor in Poland.

I will tell about the reactor current status, operational parameters, licensing etc. Planned refurbishments, modernizations and improvements of the research reactor and technological infrastructure will be described. The latest research achievements and reactor applications as well as the current and anticipated research activities will be discussed. The MARIA Neutron Laboratory was settled on the Polish Map of Research Infrastructure in 2019 - its main goals will be indicated.
