DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nOur Future in Research: Physics\, Collaborat
ion and Careers Across Europe is a two-day international scientific and ne
tworking event for doctoral candidates in physics and related fields\, fun
ded by the MOST PAN programme. Its aim is to help the participants\, namel
y the PhD students\, understand their development prospects in science and
to strengthen scientific exchange between IFJ PAN and leading research in
stitutions around the world.\nThis event was envisioned with the needs of
doctoral students in mind. Students\, especially in the final years of doc
toral school\, have many questions about their future in research: what co
mes next\, whether there is a place in a given collaboration for someone w
ith specific skills\, what happens if someone decides to switch collaborat
ions\, what the financial implications are\, and so on. This event was pla
nned with all these questions in mind.\nThe invited guests are researchers
from various international institutes and global collaborations. Their re
search and their research journeys will be very educational for the doctor
al students and will help them build a clearer picture of the future in re
search. There will also be expert sessions by dr hab. Bartłomiej Zapotocz
ny from IFJ PAN\, who will talk about internationalisation opportunities f
or students during doctoral school and grant opportunities for those consi
dering post-doctoral studies in Poland and the EU. Each day\, students wil
l have time to interact with the guests during the Knowledge Café session
s.\nThe event is free of cost and includes two lunches and tea/coffee. \n\

 MOST PAN' grant scheme\n\n\n\n\n \n\nhttps://indico.ifj.edu.pl/event/1684
