DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Hritik Gogoi (IFJ PAN)\n\nThe European Spallation So
urce in Lund\, one of the largest infrastructure projects of the past dec
ade in Europe\, dedicated to increasing the availability of cold neutrons
for a wide range of scientific researches\, is currently entering the fi
nal phase of commissioning\, and the first beam on target is expected ver
y soon.\n The experimental physics program - FINESSE - developed for the
new fundamental physics beam line will be presented\, together with some
characteristics of the ESS\, with a focus on the experiments aimed at th
e Baryon Number Violation and the Dark Matter searches. Current state of
preparations to the design of the Cosmic Ray Veto detector\, the main con
tribution of our Institute to the experiment searching for neutron-antine
 utron oscillations\, will be given.\n\nhttps://indico.ifj.edu.pl/event/166
