DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Magdalena Sławińska (IFJ PAN)\, Magdalena Slawinsk
a (IFJ PAN)\n\nThe Higgs boson is the last discovered particle of the Stan
dard Model (SM). It crowns the theoretical construction of the SM by provi
ding masses to electroweak bosons through the Brout-Englert-Higgs (BEH) me
chanism of spontaneous electroweak symmetry breaking.  The essential feat
ure of this  mechanism is the famous "Mexican hat" potential with non-zer
o vacuum expectation value.I will present results of two sets of studies p
erformed by the ATLAS experiment aimed  at measuring of the Higgs  poten
tial and searching for beyond SM deviations to its shape. One set of these
measurements  uses Higgs boson interactions with massive electroweak bos
ons in order to  probe the Higgs potential at its minimum. In order to me
asure the global shape of the Higgs potential\, Higgs bosons self-interact
ions are studied using  the production of Higgs boson pairs.  \n\nhttps:
