Description
Examples of symmetries, symmetry breaking, the resulting ferroic textures in crystalline solids, in artificial constructions, as well as in acoustic signals will be presented in an interdisciplinary context. Consequences of scale invariance of hinged gratings and of synthetic sounds will be discussed. The results achieved will be used to outline the tasks that still call for solution and, thus, indicate prospects for future research.
