Description

The synthesis of liquid crystalline compounds is a multi-step and time-consuming process. Therefore, systematic studies aimed the correlation between the molecular structure and the presence of the specific thermodynamic states (mesophases, glass transition/crystallization) are essential to obtaining liquid crystals with desired properties, which will be the subject of this presentation.
