As storing the unprocessed data is not feasible, algorithms are needed, that would provide the quality known from the offline analysis, but now in strict time constraints of online processing. The MUonE experiment is developing and testing the machine learning based event reconstruction techniques in order to provide efficient online reduction of data and to maximise the statistical power of the final physics measurement.
