Modifying Landau-de Gennes model with EM-like Lagrangian (arXiv:2108.07896), we start with reparation of two weaknesses of classical electromagnetism: lack of charge quantization (interpreting curvature of a deeper field as electric field, Gauss law counts topological charge), and infinite energy of electric field of charge (regularized with Higgs potential, leading to running coupling corrections of Coulomb). Further topological excitations turn out in surprisingly good qualitative agreement with particle physics, e.g. with 3 leptons requiring magnetic dipole moment, light oscillating 3 neutrinos, proton lighter than neutron with proper charge distribution, deuteron binding mechanism and electric quadrupole moment, also binding mechanism for larger nuclei including halo.
