Chance of creating new superheavy elements - analysis of the reaction mechanism

I will present theoretical estimations for elements with Z=119 and 120. The synthesis probability involves three stages: capture, fusion, and survival. I will critically examine the hindrance mechanism in system formation. Additionally, the study explores the convergence of cold and hot synthesis scenarios, highlighting the pivotal isthmus connecting the mainland to the island.
