Description
We report on studies of W boson production in the LHCb experiment.
Strategies for triggering, boson selection and background reduction are described. Prospects for differential cross-section measurement are given, with estimates of statistical and systematic errors. The sensitivity of the differential cross-section to uncertainties in parton density functions is discussed
