1. Dr Michał Krupiński from the Institute of Nuclear Physics PAS, Cracow, Poland, was awarded the first prize in the category of the best oral presentation with his talk entitled Highly ordered arrays of Fe60Al40 nanomagnets embedded within flat paramagnetic matrix.

2. Dr Tomasz Rozwadowski from the Institute of Nuclear Physics PAS, Cracow, Poland, was awarded the second prize in the category of the best oral presentation with his talk entitled Cold crystallization and glass transitions in 4CFPB liquid crystal.

3. MSc Shusaku Imajo from Osaka University, Osaka, Japan, was awarded the first prize in the category of the best poster presentation with his poster entitled Low temperature electronic state of β"-type organic conductors.

4. MSc Lívia Lederová from P. J. Šafárik University, Košice, Slovak Republic, was awarded the distinction in the category of the best poster presentation with her poster entitled Investigation of the spatial anisotropy of exchange coupling in quasi-two-dimensional quantum magnets Cu(en)Cl2 and Cu(tn)Cl2.

5. Dr Ewa Juszyńska-Gałązka from the Institute of Nuclear Physics PAS, Cracow, Poland, was awarded the distinction in the category of the best poster presentation with her poster entitled Polymorphism and vibrational investigations (FT-IR and IINS) of glass-forming 2-phenylbutan-1-ol (BEP), 2-(trifluoromethyl)phenethyl alcohol (2TFMP) and 4-(trifluoromethyl)phenethyl alcohol (4TFMP).
